about

Background:
Pinnacle Structures began in 1994, with the belief that the industry did not need just one more pre-engineered metal building manufacturer. Pinnacle’s management team and investment groups set forth a mission to offer deliveries consistently in a 4-6 week range, at competitive pricing, and with an extra commitment to builder service.

Timeline:

  • 1995: Pinnacle Structures opens a larger facility on 21 acres in Cabot, Arkansas, to house administrative, estimating, engineering, and operations.
  • 1996: Pinnacle demonstrates commitment to their industry by joining the Metal Building Manufacturers of America (MBMA).
  • 1996: Opting to offer complimentary services to builders, Pinnacle Structures opens The Metal Store-offering components and custom trim.
  • 1999: Pinnacle begins roll-forming panels in-house.
  • 1999: Pinnacle becomes one of the youngest companies to achieve AISC-MB certification. Pinnacle continues as the only AISC-MB certified supplier headquartered in Arkansas. The American institute of Steel Construction (AISC) performs a rigorous audit of both engineering and manufacturing every year.
  • 2000: Pinnacle initiates the ESOP program. Although Pinnacle employees have historically displayed a personal interest in providing the highest levels of quality in their new product, the ESOP program provides formal ownership, and reward, for the successes of the company, and also the successes of their builders.
  • 2005: Pinnacle begins roll-forming purlins in house.
  • 2008: Pinnacle begins roll-forming standing seam roofs, trim and 29 gauge panels in house.
  • 1999-2008: Pinnacle maintains their AISC-MB certification as the only Arkansas based certified metal building manufacturer.

Pinnacle Team:
Engineering/technical: Pinnacle employs an impressive depth of engineering support. Serving as a point of reference over the phone and in the field, 3 civil engineers, 11 draftsmen and 4 inside sales staff support the builder, the architect, and operations. The staff at Pinnacle are dedicated to delivering the highest quality product and level of service.

Production: Pinnacle operates its plant with quality control programs and full-time quality control personnel. All welders are fully certified and receive supervision by a certified welding inspector with significant industry experience. Plant management is evaluated on the quality of product and the efficiency of production.

Shipping: Shipments are on Pinnacle’s own fleet of trucks with courteous drivers, committed to delivery on the date and the hour. Operating a dedicated trucking fleet allow for more than dependable delivery. Unlike commercial trucking lines that often carry many more different products, Pinnacle only ships components and metal building systems. Therefore, Pinnacle knows how to load these systems in ways that minimize damage, reduce time spent unloading, and allow the builder greater certainty that everything they paid for is at the site.

Sales: In addition to outside sales staff, Pinnacle’s in-house estimating team is encouraged to create relationships with builders, allowing reliable and responsive pricing.

Administration: Pinnacle places a very high standard for its financial stewardship that has resulted in excellent banking and supplier relationships, often utilizing discounts. A chief accountant oversees monthly financial statements and generates accurate job costing for every building produced.

Customer base: Pinnacle manufactures a builder’s building-detailed drawings supplied in a timely manner, all welded clips, smart loading on our own trucks, shipping on builder’s schedules, and delivering a building that goes up easily and quickly. The majority of Pinnacles business comes from repeat customers who have been pleased by the quality of building and service since Pinnacle started manufacturing. Pinnacle’s doors are open for visitors, either to discuss projects with estimators, or to purchase components from the Metal Store. However, our core has always been the professional builder: general contractors and erectors. We are proud to contribute to their many projects involving educational, religious, retail, private and commercial development. Pinnacle is also happy to work with architects, land developers, and committees incorporating metal buildings and roofing systems into their projects. In these instances, Pinnacle often recommends contractors and erectors who are familiar with our buildings to assist these individuals or groups.
